1920s Men's Seamless Body Work Jacket

1920s fashion always makes people think of the Jazz Age with it's flashy clothing but not all clothing was that. Much of the clothing of the 1920s was very simple clothing worn by many. In order to simplify clothing that was already simple to be able to make the clothing quicker and importantly to businesses save time and money they made the clothing with as few seams as possible. This jacket is based on a original draft of one of those seamless jacket. Here is the body portion cut out and the only seams on the body will be at the shoulder.

New Blog for a new portion of my website!

With this new portion of my website I am building a portion of my website around a busy portion of my sewing and that is historical clothing that I have made for museums, living history, and film work.
